Everyone is Leaving...and Yet I am still here

Orange: 10 days
Australia: 14 day

I think those numbers are right. It might be 9 and 13, but I honestly don't know what day it is.

Everyone else that is studying abroad is just about done packing up their suitcases and are off for their new lands and discoveries. All of my Semester at Sea friends left a week ago, and have left a small hole in my heart.

I sent yesterday with Shannon and Lauren, as they are leaving for Italia today. I met up with them at CPK where we had lunch before heading over to Lauren's house. It was so nice to see them both before they left. We talked a lot about each of our trips. I am going to miss those girls SO much while we're gone.

I had lunch with my best friend growing up, Calla this afternoon. She will be spending four months in Senegal, Africa starting Thursday. She will be in a home stay during her time there where they speak French as the government language (she is pretty much fluent) and Wolof, which according to Wikipedia, is spoken by 94% of the population. Another cool wiki fact: Banana is actually a Wolof word that we use in English. So apparently it is not a clicking nation (hmm don't I sound ignorant)

I am now off to wash a tremendous amount of clothes and try to get light my suitcases.
